eBegging...

IT has served almost all domains in the world... Jus a thought how it can serve the beggers...

"eBegging" is an emerging begging methodology in which beggers can beg online instead of wandering here and there...
Since the flow of money in this begging domain is much more than others, technology will serve to improve the standards of begging...

IBC (International Beggar's Council) has requested BCBI (Board of Control for Beggar's in India) to select a software firm in India to design, develop and manage their portal... Based on the request, BCBI has invited project proposals from leading software firms to develop their "eBegging" portal to facilitate beggars to create their own profiles and beg online... The profiles will be directly linked to their respective savings account and all the donations will be directly deposited in those accounts...

Several software firms like BCS (Bye Bye Consultancy Services), Outfosys (Outfy), LBM (Local Business Machines), Promise Computer services ltd,
Eipro (Eastern India Vegetable Products Ltd) were leading the race in getting this prestigious project as the profit margin will be high even after implementation as maintanence itself will allow them to give away salaries for their entire employees from this single project...

Already several firms mentioned above have given ADs to hire Functional Consultants for this project...

Mumbai Terror - Salute to Martyrs - And Men in Uniform

We salute our martyrs who laid their lives in the terror operations against the people who created a terror and killed innocent civilians in mumbai in the last couple of days...

Also our salute goes to all the men in uniform (dont wanna name the forces individually as it will be a big mistake if i leave any one of them) who fought bravely and brought this seige to and end after nearly 59 hours...

We also salute the sniffer dogs who risked their life and went in search of explosives in the buildings that were occupied by the terrorists...

And also salute the South African commandos who were inside Taj hotel along with 150+ people in a restraunt and rescued them using their skills to handle pressure situations like this...

Even though the operation has completed successfully - following are some of worst things on the part of failure of administration (both state and centre) before NSG (National Security Guards) took lead in the operations... This mistakes should not be repeated and hope the administration would have learnt a lesson now...
  • NSG commandos waited for the flight to mumbai for several hours - They are the elite forces in our country - I really wonder why they dont even have a seperate flight for themselves?
  • After the NSG commandos reached mumbai airport they have waited for 30 mins for the pickup bus to arrive and take them to the terror spots - It would have taken atleast a couple of hrs for the NSG to reach mumbai - local administration will know that NSG will arrive to mumbai airport at specified time - why cant they send the pickup buses before the flight carrying NSG reached mumbai airport?
  • And arranging for a bus is also a big blunder... when situation is that much serious why cant they use the helicopters of the Coast Guard and Navy to pickup the commandos from airport and drop them? In these kind of operations "time" is an important factor...
  • The above things clearly shows the lack of co-ordination between the local administration and centre...
From the video footages its very clear that our men in uniform were using weapons that were outdated to tackle such terrorist acts... I saw several men in uniform holding .303 rifles... That's what we used in NCC for shooting practice... I was really saddenned and anuguished seeing those people using that rifle in this operation...

When you have weapons that performs far below the weapons that your enemy has then how will you conquer them????

The weapons being used in Russia, US, UK, EU and all for these kind of operations will be equipped with latest technology... but still our men in uniform - even NSG - the elite force of India is using out-dated or lower capacity arms to handle terrorists...

Billions and billions of money is being allocated for defence in our Union Budget every year... But i donna wat happens to those money when i saw the arms that our men in uniform used for this operation...

Though the seige has come to end this event has created a lot of trauma in the families of the innocent 150+ people who lost their lives...

May they have the strength to recover from this state of shock and led a normal life...

Mumbai Terror - Unsung Heroes - Labradors of NSG

They marched in fearlessly to brave bullets and explosives in a terror-struck building and in the end played no mean role in securing the premises. The two sniffer dogs of the National Security Guards (NSG) went about their task with diligence for about 15 hours during the encounter in the Nariman House along with their masters -- the commandos-- and are no strangers to life threatening situations.

It was just another day at work for the NSG Labradors who are routinely trained to sniff out unidentified objects and explosives. And they did so in good measure.

But the Labradors found the frenzied 'welcome' and the impromptu applause from scores of lensmen and TV cameramen a little too hot to handle when they emerged from the building accompanied by their trainers.

The dogs also showed signs of discomfort from continuing popping of flash bulbs and were reluctant in moving forward. They made sure to stay close to their trainers.

From the video footage shown later in media, it seems 4 sniffer dogs has been involved in the rescue operation...

We salute the brave dogs for their courageous acts in the terror zone...

Father, Son and the Crow...

A father was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his highly educated son.

Suddenly a crow perched on their window.

The Father asked his Son, "What is this?" The Son replied "It is a crow".

After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, "What is this?"

The Son said "Father, I have just now told you "It's a crow".

After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time, What is this?"

At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the Son's tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. "It's a crow, a crow".

A little after, the Father again asked his Son the 4th time, "What is this?"

This time the Son shouted at his Father, "Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times 'IT IS A CROW'. Are you not able to understand this?"

A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page.

When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-

"Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time h e asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child".

While the little child asked him 23 times "What is this", the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed...

So.. If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Be considerate to your parents.

From today say this to yourselves, "I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me. They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in the society today. I will serve my old parents in the BEST way. I will say all good and kind words to my dear parents, no matter how they behave..."

Thanks for spending ur time on reading this... :)

I can't believe this...

My First Blog in English...

Seems, its like a dream - myself writing my thoughts in english...
Donna how much successfull am going to be in this initiative...
Got that thought a moment... but finally thought of giving it a try...

Times (during our school days and even during college) were there when we (we includes ME too) made fun of people saying "Peter uduraan" - if our friends speaks in english...

But now the same "ME" - speaks / writes in english in office...
Now posting thoughts in the net in english...

Am sure that my posts wont be gramatically correct ones... With proper noun / verb / adjective / first, second, third, fourth... person / blah blah blah and all...

And am not going to worry for that... Coz its not my mother tongue... Writing in a foreign language is always difficult you see... So why to worry...

After all its a Donkey-Bad-Small-Wall only no... :)
